Help Shape the Next Chapter of the Duluth Armory
The Armory Arts & Music Center is seeking additional members to join our Board of Directors and help shape Duluth’s cultural future.
For more than 100 years, the Duluth Armory has been integral to the life of our community. Built in 1915, its walls have held military service, legendary performances, celebrations, gatherings and generations of Duluth memories.
Now, an exciting $55 million restoration is bringing the Armory back. When the Armory reopens in Fall 2027, it will feature artist studios, an inclusive music education center, food hall, performance and event spaces, and new ways for the community to gather, create and connect.
Board members bring their experience, perspective, professional expertise and community connections to help strengthen the organization, advise its leadership and build a sustainable future for one of Duluth’s most important historic places.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for forward thinking leaders with experience in fundraising, capital campaigns, strategic planning, and community partnerships. The Armory has a working board, and we’re looking for members willing to actively contribute their time, expertise and connections. Board meetings are currently held on Monday evenings.
